Support Engineer

Your responsibility will be to provide high-level technical support to our corporate clients and work with the development team to improve our day-to-day operations. This is a demanding role which requires strong technical and domain knowledge, as well as excellent communication skills.

What you will do:

• Troubleshoot application issues and work with the development group to determine effective solutions for our customers
• Track issues and related information using the ticket tracking system
• Clearly communicate problems and solutions
• Monitor processes and intervene in case of problems
• Escalate issues to the development team when required

What we are looking for:

• Fluency in written and spoken Spanish and English
• Impeccable communication skills
• Experience with banking, trading, and finance
• Linux user skills (able to navigate around the system, core admin utilities)
• Databases / SQL
• Knowledge of scripting desirable (Python, Linux shell)
• Knowledge of programming desirable (C++, Python)

C++ Developer / Financial Applications

We are looking for an outstanding programmer to help with our core development. Development is mostly done in C++, although you will also have to be proficient in C# and Python. You should have an advanced degree in computing and have worked on non-trivial software projects before. You will need to know your algorithms, work with parallelism/multithreading, and network communications. As you will be working with our core product, you will have to have some knowledge of finance, economics, and the workings of the financial markets. It would be helpful if you have worked in the financial sector and/or have invested yourself.
